Subject
Detailed accounts of Héctor Souto's death
Description
The first article, “¡Basta!”, suggests that what happened yesterday has no explanation. The author states that it’s unbelievable that a group that lives with us are maladjusted and capable of taking their ferocity to extreme levels...to crime even. The alarming frequency by which they act, and their ability to go to stadiums unpunished, deserves immediate punitive measures. The second article, “Acto Barbarie en una cancha de futbol”, characterizes the death of a 17-year-old as a tragic epilogue. It was a shameful, worthless and brutal incident. The cause? Unexplainable. He was attacked with fists and kicks for carrying an umbrella that contained the colors of one of the teams. According to eyewitnesses, fans invaded the Rácing section in order to capture an umbrella with the colors of their own teams. The arguments between fans led to an avalanche that involved fans far removed from the ruckus. The incident took place underneath the press box. Another witness says that this type of occurrence happens every week the stadiums (except, of course, the deaths).
