Subject

Analysis of the match between Argentina and Portugal

Description

The commentary on the match against Portugal was more subtle, more analytical, and summed up the performance of the Argentines by saying that there were more comfortable going forward, then they were defending. Nonetheless, they were able to keep a clean scoresheet taking advantage of the few opportunities that the Portuguese defense gave them. Argentine coach, Jose Minella stated that he didn’t believe Portugal beat them but that Argentina could have played better. The Portuguese coach was not impressed with Argentina and felt that Portugal lost the game more than Argentina won it.
