Title
Otro referee que entra en la cofradía de los 'Nai Fono'
Subject
An example of how a fan magazine ridicules and blames a referee
Description
The tone of this article is not uncommon in the pages of River when the team suffers losses. In this case, a loss to Boca (normally an embarassing moment) as it is crowned the 1964 champion brought out a particular venom towrads referee Bossolino. The reference to 'Nai Fono' is an insinuation of corruption, or at worst incompetence, tied to the article on Jan 9, 1964 about referees sanctioned by AFA. Bossolino has no such track record, and his decisions would not have altered the championship in the same way as a year ago.
