"Honrosa derrota", según el marcador

Dublin Core

Title

"Honrosa derrota", según el marcador

Subject

A comparative look at Celtic and Rácing players (and what are the differences between them)

Description

“Honrosa Derrota” [is this a tongue-in-cheek title?], but Argentine players were out of shape and “impotent” compared to Celtic players. The film from the game showed that this idea that the Argentines could control the ball better, and had more ability both collectively and individually than Celtic, was false. Celtic players are just as able with the ball; the Argentine deception already took place back in Sweden in 1958 so "we shouldn’t still deceive ourselves...we never learn anything." Piernes states that Argentines are living for nothing more than the results; strength is killing ability and one day Argentine players will hit a wall.
