Mundo Argentino pre-dated the rule of Juan Perón by several decades. However, once the state took control of Haynes Publishing, the magazine became an important part of the Peronist propaganda machine. Now, with Perón gone, the editors of the magazine are free (or coerced?) to describe the events of September 1955 as the return to liberty and freedom after ten years of tyranny and dictatorial rule.
