Description
The match between Independiente and San Lorenzo continues to garner attention in the press due to the incidents on the field and the stands. Several reports surfaced the previous day as well. Independiente praised the performance of its team throughout the season for its loyalty, honor, legitimacy, moral principles and fundamentals. The club maintains that the last game should not be a measure of the team—nor of San Lorenzo–which has maintained friendly relations throughout the history of both clubs. Oddly enough, they blame whoever let television cameras film the second half. The national Council will decide what sanctions a place on the clubs and the referee.
