A play on the term "tiro de esquina"
Description
The term corner kick in Spanish is "tiro de equina," or "corner shot"...thus this humorous play on words as a disgruntled wife is ready to gun down her husband and his mistress while waiting around the corner. The image also reinforces negative images of women, who are seen as sexual and beautiful when they are young and single, and old, overweight, and angry as mature wives. The man, however, is simply being a man and enjoys the strife of women fighting for his attention.
