Subject

A play on the soccer phrase "saved by the goal post"

Description

The Spanish phrase "lo salvó el poste," or "the goal post saved him"...is converted to marital relations as a huge and menacing wife walks by and her husband hides behind a telephone pole with his thin mistress. The image reinforces negative images of women, who are seen as sexual, thin and beautiful when they are young and single... and old, overweight, and angry as mature wives. The man, however, is simply being a man.
